WHAT IS CSF?
CSF is a non-denominational campus ministry at the University of Kentucky. CSF isn’t a place. CSF isn’t a program. CSF is everywhere on campus—although we do have a building where we sometimes hang out. It’s a million different places and a million different people. It’s downtown serving the homeless. Climbing at the Johnson Center. A conversation about Jesus ’til 2am. It’s wherever people are interacting with each other and with God.
CSF is mainly staffed by recent UK grads who take the first year or two post-graduation to give back to the UK community by working full time at CSF. A few long-term staff help guide and invest into these younger staff members who in turn pour into our student leaders as they reach out to campus with the good news and good life of Jesus.
Don’t worry, we’re not all as crazy as this guy.
CSF is a non-denominational campus ministry on UK’s campus, but CSF is more than just a building. We are late night conversations, lunch with a friend, feeding the homeless, throwing awesome parties, and tons more.
This is just a fraction of who CSF is. For more info about who we are and what we do, click here.
Anyone in college (undergrad, grad students, faculty, staff, etc.) or recently graduated. Whether you’re looking for a place to grow in your faith, just checking out Christianity for the first time, or simply want a big stack of pancakes, you’re welcome at CSF.
There are tons of ways to get plugged in at CSF. Show up at Shift or Synergy each week. Come on a retreat or spring break trip. Sign up for a CSF group. Hang out and eat free pancakes every Friday night at midnight. Play video games in the CSF basement. Or just stop by the building and say ‘hi’.
If you need help getting connected at CSF or just want to talk with someone, feel free to contact any of the CSF staff members. We’d love to grab lunch or help you get plugged in at CSF, that’s why we’re here.
If you’re new to CSF, you can check out a few ways to get involved right here.
Shift is a weekly place for freshmen to grab a free meal, meet new people, and start to figure out where life with God fits into life at college. Every Monday, 6pm at the CSF building.
Click here for more info about Shift.
CSF groups are a place to study anything from the bible to a good book in a smaller setting (6-10 people) around CSF. There are all different kinds of groups. Bible studies. Shift groups. Guys. Girls. Co-ed. Service.

Every year CSF offers several spring break opportunities to go somewhere awesome to serve, hangout, and grow. Anything from serving the homeless in New York City to skiing in Colorado to building a house for a family in need in our very own state.
Info on CSF Spring Break trips usually comes out late Fall Semester, check the CSF website (or just hang out around CSF!) for more info.
